Inter-School Chess Tournament On April 18 And 19 At Khudiram Anushilan Kendra

An inter-school Rapid Chess Tournament, titled Times NIE School Chess Tournament, is being organized by Fusion, in cooperation with West Bengal Chess Association on April 18 and 19 at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra. The programme will be inaugurated by Dibyendu Barua on Friday.

The tournament will begin at 1 pm and continue till 7.15 pm on Friday. On Saturday, it will begin at 10 am and continue till 6.30 pm after which the prizes will be given out to the winners. Over 200 students are expected to participate from a 100-odd schools, including G D Birla Centre for Education, South Point, Better High School, MP Birla Foundation and Birla High School. The programme is being sponsored by Times of India-NIE and Sophia House of Tourism.
