Calcutta High Court on Monday gave the nod to Vishva Jagriti Mission Trust (VJMT) to hold its yoga camp, conducted by Baba Ramdev, at the Rabindra Sarobar stadium from March 21-26.
The matter came up after PCB claimed that loudspeakers would cause problems for examinees. But the organisers insisted that those sitting away from the dais would not be able to hear if loudspeakers are not used. Finally, VJMT moved court.
On Monday, Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghosh and Justice Biswanath Somadder allowed the organisers to go ahead. Loudspeakers would have to be turned off an hour before the exams.
