Big Player Entered The Public Transport

The comfort of Volvo buses has captured the fancy of long-distance travellers of Kolkata.
On Sunday, another big player entered the public transport arena with Volvo buses in private-public partnership tie-up with West Bengal Surface Transport Corporation.
The Royal Cruiser will bring out 50 Volvo buses for long distance city and out-station routes.
In the beginning, eight buses of Royal Cruiser will operate on four routes like
- Kolkata-Siliguri-Cooch Behar-Dhubri
- Kolkata-Asansol-Dhanbad-Bokaro
- Kolkata-Durgapur-Asansol -Dhanbad-Dehri-on-Son-Varanasi
