Rs 70 lakh for road repairs

The state will spend Rs 70 lakh for the re pair and maintenance of two road stretches, connect ing Vivekananda bridge.
These are under the Na tional Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
PWD minister Kshiti Goswami said on Wednes day that the two connecting stretches will be renovated by the Pujas. These roads are full of potholes and traf fic snarls are frequent. The NHAI did not renovate them despite taking charge of them long ago, he said.
