Kolkata, Apr 07 (UNI) Tata Metaliks has yielded an annual production of 1,67,802 tons of hot metal and the total despatch of pig iron for the year April 2004 to March 2005 was 1,63,483 ton.
The annual production registered an increase of 31.2 per cent and 28.8 per cent from April 2003-March 2004, a company release here today said.
Though the production in second Blast Furnace was from March 22, 2005, the maiden output of pig iron till March 31 was 1,771 tons.
It said the first Blast Furnace was functioning with an annual production capacity of 1,66,000 tons of hot metal.
With the addition of the produce from the second furnace, the company aims at an annual production figure of 3,32,000 tons of hot metal in the financial year 2005-2006.
